Senior Scheduler

Position Summary:
Senior scheduling specialist/professional, construction management of the NAS/Primavera software and scheduling technical specialist/professional, responsible for multiple construction schedules coordination and Quality Assurance issue resolution at the Southern Area Office (SAO) level. Support services require the contractor to be an Electronic Data Exchange File Format expert with a sound working knowledge of primavera and other compatible NAS systems. Schedule analysis services can be characterized as being high tech, fast track, modification and claims analysis with the use of accelerated schedules; the need for new and specialized equipment, materials and methods associated with DOD’s construction projects throughout Alaska; considerable site layout and foundation preparation problems, to include unforeseen site conditions and limited accessibility; and hazardous, toxic and radiological waste (HTRW) considerations (e.g., soil contamination and asbestos removal with concurrent operation); and, to provide technical support services during contract administration. Construction is performed under rigid completion schedules and requires strict adherence to safety standards. Projects entail multi-million dollar expenditures and all projects require special construction considerations to meet seismic Zone III requirements. Support services to include periodic on-site monitoring of progress schedule to support daily contract surveillance.
Key Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university, and a minimum of seven years related experience.
- 5 years experience in project management and controls for construction projects.
- Working knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure for large projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and productively with team members and cross functional teams.
- Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to work proficiently in Microsoft Office Suite applications and other project and engineering related software programs.
- Requires a working knowledge of Primavera P6 in terms of Primavera software functionality, report generation.
Oracle Primavera Application Administrator - Anchorage

Key Responsibilities:
- Has primary responsibility for maintaining the Oracle Primavera EPPM tool.
- Provides expert technical support in identifying application solutions to meet business needs, including system configuration, project management procedure development, and report development.
- Conducts needs analysis with management to ensure optimum functionality of the system.
- Develops and tests processes, capabilities, and architecture.
- Introduces the basic concept of the tool; guides/mentors project team members in the best practices and successful implementation of the Primavera system as needed.
- Understands and troubleshoots issues. Resolves application issues and errors.
- Assists in the development of end user training.
- Performs ongoing system maintenance and upgrades as needed.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Responsible interfacing with the Information Technology Department representatives to administer, maintain and troubleshoot database, integration, and user accessibility problems
- Responsible for assigning security and creating profiles for new users in Primavera
- Will maintain Primavera P6 global dictionaries and administration settings
- Will maintain Primavera P6 documentation, including but not limited to; Configuration Documentation, IT Service Level Agreements, and External Interface Documentation
- Will provide support for Primavera P6 users as a Help Desk and attendance in regularly occurring User Group meetings
- Responsibilities include development of, and adherence to, Primavera P6 standard administration guidelines and change control processes
- Responsible for development and use of reports to assist administration activities
- Will continually verify data population and interface operations to ensure data integrity, through reporting and error logging software
- Will provide a single point contact with the Information Technology Department support personnel and be primary point contact between client and Oracle-Primavera Support personnel

Scheduler - Alaska or Pacific Northwest
Responsible for the planning and scheduling of construction/engineering department projects supporting Project Managers and Project Engineers. Analyzes contractual commitments, client specifications, design changes and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Assess schedule durations, cost loading, activity coding and work breakdown structure. Perform schedule impact analysis for modifications. Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects. Conducts planning and coordination meetings as required to support planning and monitoring functions. Responsible for company resource planning. Gathers and analyzes information to prepare reports on the progress of projects and ensures that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy. Produces reports as required to support project needs, ensuring schedule-coding structure supports management reporting requirements.
Job Requirements
- Must be a self-motivated individual, possess excellent communications skills and work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Project and Primavera scheduling software.
- Must have knowledge of the Critical Path Method.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures a plus.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management and/or Architecture degree or equivalent experience a plus.
Oracle Primavera P6 System Analyst - Washington
Responsible for providing consultation to management with regard to short and long range requirements for Oralce Primavera P6 architecture and associated administration. Provide senior level expertise for the ongoing technical administration of client/server applications, independently formulates/defines system scope and objectives. Develops and/or modifies procedures to solve complex interoperability issues. Designs, tests, debugs, and documents application upgrades and interfaces to other business systems. Successfully works at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis activities. The candidate will be responsible for Primavera P6 systems analysis on a highly integrated Oracle/SQL mixed production environment.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a computer discipline
- OR an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of directly related IT or Systems Analyst Environment experience, where the person's level of achievement has clearly demonstrated their ability to fill the position
- OR five years of directly related IT or Systems Analyst Environment experience, where the person's level of achievement has clearly demonstrated their ability to fill the position
- A high school diploma or GED is required
Desired Attributes and Experience:
- Experience with Primavera P6
