Patrick Lovelace, President of Nu Solutions, will be co-presenting with Bill Davidson, a Facility Engineering Planner with Chevron Alaska, at Oracle's OpenWorld conference in San Francisco, October 14-15, 2009

Their session presents Chevron Alaska's experiences, tips and tricks, and lessons learned in implementing solutions from Oracle's Primavera from the ground up in an upstream energy environment. Nu Solutions implemented a Web access tool for project managers, facility engineers, and management, one of the first upstream oil and gas companies to do so. Topics include setting up preloaded dashboards, portfolios, and schedule layouts for schedule novices; configuring the resource function in Primavera software to plan crew sizes on offshore platforms to prevent overcrowding, and using Web categories to minimize activity coding and maximize phase planning.
